What is a TTRPG?
A Tabletop Role-Playing Game (TTRPG) is a form of collaborative storytelling where a group of players take on the roles of characters in a fictional setting. One player, the Game Master (GM), facilitates the game, describes the world, and plays the role of non-player characters (NPCs). Together, you create a unique story through your decisions and the roll of the dice.

Let me take you elsewhere. My name is Joachim, and I'm a Game Master. My job, my passion, is to make you live unforgettable adventures around a table.
What is role-playing?
It's an interactive, cooperative story where every choice you make matters and changes the course of events in an adventure across all imaginable universes.
How does it work, concretely?
Imagine... I describe the scene. You're investigators in a dusty library, searching for a forbidden book. The smell of old paper floats in the air, clock hands tick inexorably in the distance. Suddenly, you hear creaking footsteps on the floor in the next room.
Your turn to play!
One of you decides: 'I put my ear to the door to try to identify this noise.' Another: 'I prepare to search the nearest shelves, just in case.' A third might say: 'I stay on guard, my hand on my six-shooter.'
Then, as game master, I react to your decisions, describe the consequence, the effect of your actions, and again: I present the world you're in, and you set it in motion! I'll leave you the surprise of what happens behind that door...
What about the dice?
When an action is uncertain (do you hear something through the door? do you find the book?), we roll dice to know if the action will succeed. They add an element of chance, suspense, and surprise! Sometimes they offer you a triumphant success. Other times, they create a hilarious or terrifying complication. That's the magic of role-playing: a unique story built with you, for you, always unique!
